‘American Idol’ David Archuleta Says Fans Left Show After He Talked Being Queer

David Archuleta states lots of fans left of a current program of his after he discussed being queer … a minute he thinks drives home simply how crucial it is to continue to inform his story.

Archuleta showed up in Los Angeles Thursday, simply hours after covering a stop on his Christmas trip in Utah, where he states fans bailed throughout a break in the efficiency where he discussed his current journey coming out.

In truth, he even shared an e-mail from what seemed a supervisor of the place where he sang … revealing their frustration over his choice to speak about his sexuality.

Part of the e-mail read, “I do not believe that, that concert was a setting for that to happen. We have some very upset patrons that I will dealing with today. I would hope in the remaining concerts, that would not be allowed and just allow them to have an awesome Christmas experience.”

David stated he might feel the stress in the crowd when sharing his story, and he was dissatisfied to see some fans leave, however that will not stop him from sharing his experience, due to the fact that he understands the message might assist in saving lives.

Archuleta — who positioned 2nd behind David Cook in season 7 of “American Idol” — matured in a rigorous Mormon family, and states he needed to keep his sexuality a trick. At one point, David states he considered taking his own life.
