LeBron James is commemorating Takeoff in a huge method … altering his Instagram avatar to an image of the late rap artist — something the Lakers super star hardly ever does.
James’ IG upgrade occurred Wednesday night right before the Lakers handled the New Orleans Pelicans in Los Angeles … when he switched out a picture of his household for an image of Takeoff, who was tragically killed in front of a Houston bowling street on Tuesday.
The photo reveals a stoic Takeoff in a fit and tie … using a set of dark sunglasses.
The relocation is a really significant one for James — whose IG profile pictures generally includes pictures of him or his household. Most just recently, his 2 kids, Bronny and Bryce, held the honor.
37-year-old James formerly utilized the gesture to honor Kobe Bryant following his awful death in 2020.
Of course, the Migos and King James are fans of each other … keep in mind, the rap trio turned LBJ’s well-known “Taco Tuuuuuuesday” terminology into a real tune 2 years back — and Bron was hyped over it.

LeBron has yet to openly talk about Takeoff’s death, though he did share an image of the Migos rap artist in among his IG stories soon after his death.
Takeoff was simply 28 years of ages.
