NBA commissioner Adam Silver is letting loose on Kyrie Irving … stating the Brooklyn Nets star’s tried mea culpa for sharing a link to a film packed with antisemitic beliefs was a total dissatisfaction.
The commish resolved the controversy in a declaration on Thursday … and he didn’t keep back.
“Kyrie Irving made a reckless decision to post a link to a film containing deeply offensive antisemitic material,” Silver — who is Jewish — stated.
Two days after publishing a link to an antisemitic movie (that’s still up), here’s Kyrie Irving:
– Claiming that publishing a link to something isn’t promoting it 🤔
– Playing the victim
– Accusing a reporter of “dehumanizing” him by just inquiring about itpic.twitter.com/qGdDVO7awA

“While we appreciate the fact that he agreed to work with the Brooklyn Nets and the Anti-Defamation League to combat antisemitism and other forms of discrimination, I am disappointed that he has not offered an unqualified apology and more specifically denounced the vile and harmful content contained in the film he chose to publicize.”
As we formerly reported, Kyrie made a $500k donation to “eradicate hate” on Wednesday … however stopped short of entirely knocking the contents of the “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!” task.
“I do not believe everything said in the documentary was true or reflects my morals and principles,” Irving stated in the declaration … however did not clarify what parts he was distancing himself from.
Silver is so pissed, he states he will be personally consulting with Kyrie face to face within the next week to go over the circumstance.
