17-Year-Old Star California H.S. Football Player Richard Reed Shot And Killed

Richard Reed — a star high school football gamer in California — was unfortunately eliminated in a deadly shooting over the weekend. He was just 17.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department states deputies were dispatched to La Mesa Road and Jade Road in Victorville (85 miles northeast of Los Angeles) around 11 PM on Oct. 30.

They discovered a male with a gunshot injury pushing the street … and unfortunately, the EMTs pronounced him dead on their arrival.

SBSD recognized the victim as Reed, a standout football gamer from Silverado High School … and his death has actually been ruled a murder.

Reed was a flexible star … playing offense, defense and unique groups for the Silverado Hawks.

According to Max Preps, Reed had 269 hurrying lawns, 5 overall goals in 10 video games this season … including 72 overall takes on and 2.5 sacks on the protective side.

He was called the All-Desert Sky League Defensive Player of the Year in 2021.
