According to THR … the last-minute addition was in fact something WB and the creatives behind “Black Adam” — Dwayne’s launching superhero flick — had actually developed even prior to getting HC onboard, which manifested in them shooting the post-credits scene with a stand-in.

That body double, nevertheless, was apparently silhouetted and obscured in post — to where they totally concealed his face, just revealing part of a person in Superman’s outfit — since they had not struck a handle Cavill yet … although the objective was to bring him back.
They apparently shot the scene in a matter of minutes previously this year and did test screenings of it — with the headless Superman in the beginning — to which fans reacted extremely favorably. That verified to manufacturers … they needed to get Henry, one method or another.

The DP who helmed ‘BACHELOR’S DEGREE’ reacted to the terrific feedback … “Wow, this is 100 percent going to work. Now they need to figure out if they can get the guy with the head to be there.”
If you have not heard by now … Cavill is going back to the DCEU for a minimum of another ‘Superman’ motion picture (and maybe more) after a Herculean lobbying effort by The Rock.

Reports state he moved mountains to broker an offer to get everybody’s preferred MoS back into the image, in spite of pushback from some studio heads … particularly, Walter Hamada, who was dead set on proceeding from the Zack Snyder period, no matter fans who voiced otherwise.
Now that WH is outta there, however, it appears the brand-new WB — running in combination with Discovery — wants to attempt Cavill one more time. No pumpkin noggin fill-ins required either!
BTW, if you wanna see Henry’s cameo completely — you’ll need to strike a theater. Even though the feline is quite out of the bag, WB’s tugging down the dripped video footage all over Twitter.
