Last night (October 4), BET aired the 2022 installation of their Hip Hop Awards. Amidst the typical range of awards (Best DJ went to DJ Drama, Best Newcomer went to GloRilla… I can’t remember who else won something though… or if they even aired), there were a couple of cyphers, an on-stage URL fight (which had some peaks), Trina getting her flowers, a homage to Loud Records with a number of the label’s alumni, a Clipse sighting, and more.
