Williams motorist Alex Albon states he feels as “fit as I can be” after fighting a severe health scare simply weeks ago … and his strategy is to race this weekend at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The 26-year-old suffered respiratory failure and hung around in the Intensive Care Unit after being dealt with for appendicitis on September 10 … simply hours prior to he was slated to race in Monza.
Albon opened on his healing on Thursday … and he feels great he’ll lag the wheel as soon as again for Williams this weekend.

“I feel ready. I feel as fit as I can be — no pain,” Albon informed press reporters.
“We had a good week of training or two weeks almost to get back to where we are today. We’re realistic and we know that we’re coming to the most difficult race of the year.”
The Singapore GP is understood to be among the most difficult races on the calendar … big in part due to the damp conditions taking a toll on chauffeurs.

Albon states he’s aware of the job ahead … however makes it clear he plans to be out on the street circuit.
“We do have to be mindful of that,” he included. “But I feel good. I’ve been karting and it’s felt okay.”
