Still Here: John Wall Reveals He Almost Had His Foot Amputated After Infections From Surgery

In this upcoming 2022-2023 season John Wall will make his long-awaited go back to the NBA court. He will be having fun with the Los Angeles Clipper together with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The roadway back to the court hasn’t been a simple one for Wall who just recently offered a check out his life throughout the pandemic and the previous couple of years while away from the video game after severe injuries sidelined him. Last month Wall exposed he lost his mother and grandmother all while handling his recover to the league.

John Wall Reveals He Almost Had to Amputate His Foot Due To Infections Post Surgery

In a brand-new piece for The Players Tribune entitled “I’m Still Here” John Wall informs his story his method. The piece is a must-read for anybody that’s a fan of Wall and likewise sports in basic. Wall likewise exposes he nearly had his foot cut off due to issues post-surgery.

“In the period of 3 years, I went from being on cloud nine to losing damn near whatever I ever appreciated,” he composed. “In 2017, I’m leaping up on the commentator’s table in D.C. after requiring Game 7 versus Boston, and I’m the king of the city. I’m getting a max extension, believing I’m a Wizard for life. A year later on, I tore my Achilles and lost the only sanctuary I’ve ever understood—the video game of basketball. I wound up with such a bad infection from the surgical treatments that I almost needed to have my foot cut off. A year later on, I lost my buddy in the entire world, my mama, to breast cancer.”

Returning to the court will be bittersweet for Wall who by all methods had an extremely obstacle-filled journey getting his profession back on track.
