“Survivor” alum and “The Challenge: USA” participant Tyson Apostol believes he might clean the flooring with the OG’s of the MTV program … however series staple Johnny Bananas believes he has no idea what he’s talkin’ about.
We got Johnny in New York City Tuesday … and he believes Tyson’s claims aren’t holding up — including the truth star is a little too brand-new to the series to be yappin’ his mouth.
Put simply — Johnny does not believe TA’s prepared to keep up the huge young boys.

In case you missed it, Tyson’s been a standout participant on the CBS spinoff, however last month he called out a bulk of the cast on Twitter … stating the face-off would be a cinch.
“The Challenge: USA” — covering its very first season — takes identifiable faces from “Big Brother,” “Survivor” and other CBS programs and pits them versus each other, similar to MTV’s does.
Johnny did state he’s pleased the program arrived on another network, thinking it’ll bring eyes back to MTV’s series — however he calls the CBS series the “Walmart version,” and has really clear concepts about how they can update. Tip: It includes him.
